Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime — your subscription will not renew, and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. To cancel:
- Use the cancellation link in your Paddle receipt/email, or
- Email hello@wordivo.co and we'll help.
There is no cancellation fee.
Free tier
New learners use Wordivo free for their first 25 words — no card required. To add more words you choose to subscribe; there is no automatic charge. You can cancel a subscription at any time.
Refunds
- EU/UK consumers: you have a statutory right to a refund within 14 days of purchase, except where you've started using a digital service and acknowledged losing that right at checkout.
- Outside the EU/UK: we offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied and have made minimal use of the service.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days.
To request a refund, contact hello@wordivo.co or reply to your Paddle receipt. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you can also request refunds directly through Paddle's buyer support.
Annual & 6-month plans
For longer prepaid plans, refunds within the 14-day window are full. After that, contact us — partial refunds for the unused period are considered case by case.
Switching between solo and a teacher
If you move from a solo plan to a teacher's group (or between teachers), we don't refund your remaining prepaid time — it's paused, not lost. If you ever leave every teacher and go solo again, your solo plan picks up with the same time remaining, however long that takes.
Teacher earnings & refunds
If a student payment is refunded, the corresponding teacher earning for that payment is reversed. Teachers are only paid out on net (non-refunded) revenue.
