Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancelling your subscription
The monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. The 6-month plan is a one-off prepaid block — it does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel; access simply ends when the 180 days do.
To stop a renewal, open 💳 Subscription in the bot and tap Stop renewing — or email hello@wordivo.co. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. There is no cancellation fee.
Three days before an automatic renewal, the bot messages you with the date and the amount that will be charged. Three days before a non-renewing plan ends, it tells you the date your access ends.
Free tier
New learners use Wordivo free for their first 25 words — no card required. To add more words you choose to subscribe; there is no automatic charge.
Refunds
- EU/UK consumers: you have a statutory right to a refund within 14 days of purchase, except where you've started using a digital service and acknowledged losing that right at checkout.
- Outside the EU/UK: we offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied and have made minimal use of the service.
- We issue approved refunds back to your original LiqPay payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
To request a refund, contact hello@wordivo.co with your payment date and the email or Telegram username used to pay.
Annual & 6-month plans
For longer prepaid plans, refunds within the 14-day window are full. After that, contact us — partial refunds for the unused period are considered case by case.
Switching between solo and a teacher
If you move from a solo plan to a teacher's group (or between teachers), we don't refund your remaining prepaid time — it's paused, not lost. If you ever leave every teacher and go solo again, your solo plan picks up with the same time remaining, however long that takes.
Leaving a teacher also ends the recurring charge for that teacher's group price — you are not billed for a teacher you have left. The month you have already paid for runs to its end, and your paused solo time is waiting behind it.
Teacher earnings & refunds
If a student payment is refunded, the corresponding teacher earning for that payment is reversed. Teachers are only paid out on net (non-refunded) revenue.
